CHILDREN'S WORLD, CHILDREN'S RIGHTS eTWINNING EUROPEAN PROJECT 

    ABOUT PROJECT:

    This project aims to enable our children, who are the architects of our future, to learn about the rights they have acquired with the "Children's Rights Convention" and to learn about the practices in different countries.

  PROJECT GOALS:

1. Explaining the concept of Children's Rights
2. Examining the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its articles
3. Learning the applications in different countries
4. Recognition and use of different Web 2.0 tools
5. Development of foreign language skills
6. Increasing socialization and communication skills
7. Gaining awareness about rights and responsibilities.

  EXPECTED RESULTS:

Students,
1. Gain awareness about their rights
2. Recognize national and international practices related to Children's Rights
3. Recognize the similar and different aspects of international practices
4. If there are points that need improvement, they should discover them and find solutions
5. To take action so that their peers are aware of their rights and to carry out social responsibility studies
6. Developing their imagination and creativity skills
7. Developing self-expression skills
8. Using Web 2.0 tools effectively

Our Child Rights National Policies Event For one of our collaborative work, National Policies on the Rights of the Child, we first created a google document. Our students started by researching the policies implemented in their own countries regarding the Rights of the Child. They added the results of the research to google documents. In line with the added information, we came up with a story. While creating the story, we started voting on Tricider to choose the appropriate title for our story. As a result of the voting, the title of our story was Children Telling, The World Listening.   "What do you think the final product of our project can be?" to our students and partners about our project. we asked. from our students and partners; Ideas such as making an animated film together, writing a poem, writing a diary, preparing an album, organizing a painting competition, organizing a festival at school, calling experts and holding seminars, organizing exhibitions, playing theater, doing street interviews, preparing presentations and publishing a magazine or book came up. Among these ideas, the idea of making an animated short film together, which received the most votes by 23%, was accepted. Then, we conducted a survey, "Which web2 tool should we use for our final product?"
